Abstract: The Information Literacy Special Issue contributes important research that adds to both practical and research perspectives on information literacy (IL) as it has evolved over the past 50 years. Articles range from bibliometric maps of approaches to IL to new methodological approaches to developing IL and learning. Edited by Gaby Haddow and Min Chou, this issue built on the successful joint session held by the Library Theory and Research and Information Literacy Sections at the 2018 Congress in Kuala Lumpur.
