Item Guidelines for Libraries Serving Hospital Patients and the Elderly and Disabled in Long-Term Care Facilities(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2004-02) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Panella, Nancy MaryDuring the course of its preliminary research, the working group was struck with how the concept of a hospital library differs so in different parts of the world. It found, for example, that in some countries, the term 'hospital library' almost always signified a biomedical/health sciences library, while in others, it usuallymeant a library providing leisure reading materials for patients. In still other countries, 'hospital library' could signifyeither a biomedical/health sciences library or a patients' library, with the latter providing leisure reading collections or health information materials or both. Recognizing the ambiguity of the term, therefore, these guidelines have tried to avoid its use. It was not possible to do so in some instances, for example, in recounting the history of patients' libraries. The reader should thus be aware that where the term 'hospital library' is used, it means a library for patients, one that routinely provides leisure reading collections, often in combination with health information materials.Item Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2004-03) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Skat Nielsen, Gyda; Irvall, BirgittaThe IFLA Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia aim to offer guidance to IFLA professional units and all its members worldwide on developing and implementing library services to persons with dyslexia.Item Hastanelerdeki hastalara ve uzun süreli bakım tesislerindeki yaşlılar ile engellilere hizmet sunan kütüphaneler için kılavuz(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2015-09) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Panella, Nancy Mary; Demir, GülerDuring the course of its preliminary research, the working group was struck with how the concept of a hospital library differs so in different parts of the world. Item Richtlinien für das Bibliothekswesen zur Unterstützung von Legasthenikern(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2005-10) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Skat Nielsen, Gyda; Irvall, BirgittaThe Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia aim to offer guidance to IFLA professional units and all its members worldwide on developing and implementing library services to persons with dyslexia.Item Richtlinien für Patientenbibliotheken und Bibliotheken für Senioren und Behinderte in Langzeitpflegeeinrichtungen(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2006-12) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Panella, Nancy MaryDuring the course of its preliminary research, the working group was struck with how the concept of a hospital library differs so in different parts of the world. (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2003-05) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Skat Nielsen, Gyda; Irvall, BirgittaThe Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia aim to offer guidance to IFLA professional units and all its members worldwide on developing and implementing library services to persons with dyslexia. (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2013-10) IFLA Section of Libraries Serving Disadvantaged persons; Skat Nielsen, Gyda; Irvall, Birgitta; Arab Federation for Libraries & Information (AFLI)The Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia aim to offer guidance to IFLA professional units and all its members worldwide on developing and implementing library services to persons with dyslexia.
