Besides the current MLAS SC current members, MLAS incoming SC members, IFLA President, IFLA President-Elect, IFLA Secretary-General, IFLA External Affairs Director, and representatives of Library Associations also attended the meeting. The meeting among others reported on the achievements of MLAS Action Plan 2024-2025 which included the MLAS Building Strong Library Associations Initiatives with the six Regional Divisions Webinar Series, Advocacy Impact Evaluation Project Webinar; MLAS Mid-Term 2025 and MLAS SC Meeting in Berlin, Germany. There was a brainstorm session with MLAS members and guests and updates from IFLA President, IFLA President-Elect and IFLA Secretary General; a report on the IFLA Building Strong Library Associations Taxonomy Final Report. Recognition and appreciation to the 6 outgoing MLAS SC who have completed their term and welcoming the 6 incoming MLAS SC.
