This first part offers both background around references to knowledge and information in the original 2030 Agenda, and an exploration of references grouped by cluster of SDGs. It shows that knowledge and information have a role to play across all clusters of goals, with this role being both rich and diverse. At the same time, the similarities in the contributions from cluster to cluster indicate that there may be the potential for a more cross-cutting approach. Part 2 will complement this by looking at the same data from a thematic perspective.enhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/UN Sustainable Development GoalsKnowledge, Information and SDG Success, Part 1ReportsInternational Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)
