Upholding the fundamental rights of access to information and knowledge is a starting point. To guarantee these rights and realise this vision of the Internet, we must get governance right. This will require action by decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels, inside and outside of governments, including libraries. The IFLA Internet Manifesto, now in a fully-updated 3rd edition, sets out the key principles that the library sector believes should underpin decisions taken about the Internet, as well as setting out libraries’ own contribution.enhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deedInternet accessInternet governanceInternet inclusionIFLA Internet Manifesto (2024 Update)IFLA Internet Manifesto: Building better digital access with librariesStatementsInternational Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)
