Under the inaugural chair Lars Svensson, the meeting reviewed its terms of reference and summarized the actions and work of its forerunner committee, the Namespaces Technical Committee reporting to the Subject Analysis and Access Section. These included work in progress on documents: Guidelines on Using and Extending IFLA Namespaces (draft), Issues of Constrained and Unconstrained Namespaces (draft), Guidelines for translations of IFLA Namespaces (v.2.0), Guidelines for Translations of the ISBD Namespace in RDF (v.1.0).
