The Open Access API will disable on November 18, 2025; testing OpenAlex (target go-live November 11) is underway with hopes for premium access. Future notification enhancements were proposed but deferred. Steering Committee roles were reviewed: Secretary team (Giovanna Colombo, Luis Fernando RodrÃguez, Jacob Long) and Communication Coordinators (Edward Cardoso, Debora Mazza). A communications subgroup (Edward, Peter B., Tom, Debora, Zaid) formed to explore multilingual strategies like newsletters and social media, emphasizing best practices sharing.
