This presentation explores how libraries are fostering inclusive knowledge dissemination through outreach-driven, policy-aligned, and community-focused initiatives across diverse regions. It highlights information literacy efforts such as village adoption and science outreach programmes that promote scientific awareness, digital skills, and critical thinking among rural and underprivileged communities, strengthening links between higher education and society. The presentation also examines libraries' advocacy for equitable access to scholarly resources through national subscription initiatives and open-access promotion, enabling students and researchers from resource-constrained institutions to participate more effectively in global scholarship. Further, it discusses the creation of archival platforms to preserve shared historical, cultural, and indigenous knowledge, alongside the development of a dedicated Northeast repository documenting regional heritage, oral traditions, and local histories. Together, these initiatives demonstrate how academic libraries can align with national priorities of digital inclusion, cultural sustainability, and knowledge equity.
