This presentation explores how libraries, through community-governed initiatives and cross-sector partnerships, are actively shaping open infrastructure to reflect local priorities while contributing to global goals. Drawing on real-world case studies, we will highlight how library-led contributions to open platforms and collaborative support structures are helping grow a sustainable, scalable, and interoperative scholarly landscape.
