Abstract: The Internet is increasingly central to the way we create, share, access and use information. For libraries to be able to achieve their mission of providing universal, equitable and meaningful access to information, it has to work for everyone. The Intrenet Governance Forum offers a space to talk about the values, objectives and work of libraries with governments, businesses, experts and civil society organisations, in order to build networks and consensus about the internet we want. With many national and regional initiatives, as well as thematic work, there is a lot of scope for libraries and library associations to get involved. This guide explains what the Internet Governance Forum is, and how you can get involved.
