A Study on Bibliographic Characteristic of e-books provided by the Korea Reading Education Comprehensive Support System
(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2022-11-09) Jang, Hyo Jeong
The purpose of this study is to analyze the bibliographic characteristics of e-books supported by the comprehensive reading education support system as a reading education platform for school libraries in Korea, and to derive problems and improvement plans for the bibliographic structure. As such, variables such as subject fields, author-related matters, and title-related matters of 3002 e-books supported by the Busan Reading Education Comprehensive Support System are extracted, and certain bibliographic characteristics are analyzed through various analysis techniques. Based on the analysis results, focus group interviews were conducted with 6 librarian teachers to identify problems with the e-book composition and ways to improve it.
