    Creating and Expanding the Global Library Publishing Map

    Library publishing activities are growing worldwide. In 2018, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Library Publishing Special Interest Group (LibPub SIG) was established aiming to create a global library publishing community. Through partnership with Library Publishing Coalition (LPC), LibPub SIG initiated the Global Library Publishing Map project in 2019. The poster will illustrate the background and the creation of the Map, and its opportunities and challenges. A research project following this map project will also be introduced with the aim to expand the Map to China

    Cybersecurity and Libraries: Global trends, challenges, and best practices

The roles and responsibilities of library IT professionals in implementing cybersecurity measures are discussed, emphasizing the significance of their expertise in safeguarding library systems and data. The presentation aims to raise awareness about the growing importance of cybersecurity in libraries and offers practical insights to fortify their defenses against cyber threats.
