We are presenting in this poster our smart app that is the guide best described as our city on palm of your hand. This is the result of our work that won the Competition for Digitalization of cultural heritage organized by Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia. Our app is all about sculptures, monuments, it has pictures, old and new of places you should see in Lazarevac, describes history of the city, contains landscape videos. It contains 3D technology, sounds and visual material, so the app is suitable for blind and visually impaired and deaf and hearing impaired. The digital guide has educated our residents, but it is of great benefit to foreigners who come to our city. Through work on this app, we developed an important cooperation and gained an associates who can help us in our growth as an institution that can answer to all demands of nowadays. It also helps us to strengthen our communication competencies and skills of using new tools that improve media literacy. In almost 2 years‘ time 25000 users have used our services and discovered library in a new and exiting way.
