    Smernice za knjižnične storitve za dojenčke in malčke

    Smernice so nastale kot skupni projekt (2006–2007) vseh sekcij IFLA Division of Libraries Serving the General Public, ki ga je koordinirala IFLA Sekcija knjižnic za otroke in mlade odrasle. Smernice pomagajo splošnim knjižnicam v državah po vsem svetu vzpostavljati visokokakovostne storitve za otroke. Namenjene so tako usposobljenim kot manj izkušenim knjižničarjem, ki so odgovorni za delo z družinami z dojenčki in malčki. Pri predstavitvi smernic za najmlajše uporabnike ta dokument sloni na afriškem pregovoru: »Za vzgojo otroka je potrebna cela vas.«
