This poster uses photographs and graphics to illustrate the success of Book Week NI, an annual celebration of books, reading and libraries delivered by Libraries NI in partnership with national broadcaster, BBC Northern Ireland. In 2020 and 2021, the coronavirus pandemic impacted the delivery of library services across the globe. The poster will illustrate that despite this uncertainty, Book Week continued to grow in terms of engagement, reach and connection to important stakeholders and library customers. The poster uses key data to illustrate social media reach in excess of 3 million, and shares user stories that provide qualitative evidence of the success of the initiative. Photographs of participating writers are used to inspire, social media graphics demonstrate engagement, and testimony from government ministers, local celebrities and library customers evidence the connection that Book Week has successfully delivered in advocating the importance of books, reading and libraries. Book Week has been developed over the past six years to be a truly multi-platform initiative delivered in libraries, across radio and television networks, on social media and in schools and online. The poster title is inspired by an accompanying BBC NI television programme Read All About It!en_US
