dc.description.abstract | Items discussed at the seventh Regional Council meeting which was held in person, in the Hague (the Netherlands) include an address from the IFLA President, President-Elect, updates from the Regional Council Chair and the Professional Council Chair. Subsequently, a workshop took place titled "Defining a Mission for IFLA’s Regional Structures, and Ensuring a Strong Volunteering Experience". Furthermore, there were discussions about optimising engagement between IFLA’s Regional and Professional structures, Regional Council Self-Evaluation and an exchange of ideas with Regional Offices/Centre for Arabic Speaking Libraries. | en_US |
