dc.description.abstractPUMC Medical Library has a hundred-year history. In the era of the booming development of AI and the Internet, PUMC Medical Library makes full use of AI technologies and the Internet platform to provide various information support for users. The library used many AI algorithms to construct the Chinese Medical Terminology System and Chinese Medical Thesaurus, which provide rich medical terminology services and the basis for the deep organization of Chinese scientific resources, knowledge reasoning, and semantic retrieval. Meanwhile, it provides convenient online tools for users who need to acquire medical information. Additionally, WeChat is the most used social media platform in China, public account has been widely used in information propaganda. The PUMC Medical Library operates an official public account on WeChat. Through this account, the PUMC Medical Library shares six major themes including training on how to use databases and remote library services, holding online lecture series, recommending good books, library offline activities notices, etc. The PUMC Medical Library strives to provide and spread medical knowledge, such as medical terminology and literature, improve the medical information literacy of librarians and readers, and devote to promoting the healthy development of people.en_US
