Abstract: Non-formal education is an important area of activity of Lithuanian public libraries as they are the place where the lifelong learning is promoted and people can improve their cultural, digital literacy and social competences. This presentation on "Adult education programs in Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library" was given at the "Informal Adult Education in the Library: a Tool for Community Building" webinar held on 21 December 2023. The webinar was sponsored by the IFLA Library Services to Multicultural Populations Section and the Iran Public Libraries Association.
