Action Plan 2019-2021: Information Technology Section

Abstract

The committee’s activities have been focused in three areas: 1) Advance the awareness, knowledge and implementation of IT innovations with potential impact on and value for library operations and services; 2) Develop guidelines, principles, best practices and/or training materials on up-to-date Information and Communications Technology (ICT) topics applicable to a wide range of libraries and information services; and 3) Support and strengthen IFLA activities and groups in areas of technological challenges.
