Abstract

The committee’s activities have been focused in three areas: 1) Advocacy on the importance and role of libraries worldwide; 2) Advocacy for the role of Libraries in the society; and 3) Ensure that Ifla really is the global voice of the profession and ensure that the organization works effectively.
