dc.description.abstractSocial networks have generated a pervasive “digital boom” all aspects of life in all areas. Heritage institutions- libraries, archives documentation services - traditionally bear the responsibility of preserving the intellectual and cultural resources produced by all of society. Libraries must produce and process digital data of Web 2.0 their role in civic information. Currently, the data collected on the natural or legal persons are being treated as a commodity data that are rented to companies, governments by data brokers. Treatment of digital heritage to the memory of mankind, it is imperative to respect the declarations of principles, charters, standards issued by international organizations and intergovernmental documentary: UNESCO, IFLA and ICA. To preserve digital memory, a collaborative effort needs to be accomplished by libraries and their institutions to develop strategies, contributing to better protection of digital data.fr
