| dc.description.abstract | Objectives: The Section will examine different aspects of social science libraries and create a strategic document (Wiki, Website, etc.) to promote economic development and to empower citizens for a participatory society. Contribution to the IFLA Strategic Plan/Key initiatives 1 & 2. The Section will establish collaborations with IFLA sections representing regions in order to include diverse and global perspective on issues. Contribution to the IFLA Strategic Plan/Key Initiative 3 & 4. The Section will promote the highlights of recent Section activities and future directions to the IFLA community.
