| dc.description.abstract | This address reflects on the origins and development of the Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning Section of IFLA. The Section started as the Continuing Library Education Network Exchange (CLENE), then became the Continuing Professional Education Round Table (CPERT), finally it developed into the current Section. The contribution of Dr Elizabeth Stone and other early members is highlighted and suggestions are given for identifying trends that will allow the Section to move into the future successfully. | en |
