    Sustainability – Hands on
(International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 2023-10-07) Siegrist, Josephine; Ehrlicher, Heike
The guide and the game enable library staff to become active themselves to contribute in building a sustainable future through the SDGs by showing concrete measures, what they can change in their library (game) or which activities/projects they can implement in their library in order to achieve individual SDGs. 1. Guide with best practice examples: The guide inspires with short descriptions of various projects to initiate your own projects and provides a lot of additional information on time, financial expenditure, personnel involved and the goals of the 2030 Agenda taken into account. In this way, the guide makes it easier to find/implement targeted actions to promote sustainability in one's own library and to achieve the individual SDGs. 2. Lilu's Library – Make the library shine sustainably: The aim of the Games Lilu's Library is to provide employees from all areas of the library world with practical knowledge on sustainability in a playful way and to show them which measures they can take to contribute to achieving the sustainability goals of the UN Agenda 2030 and to make library work more sustainable.
