Abstract: The fortunes of books supplier during this uncertain time is unpredictable due to the unstable economic condition. Themed "Connecting heart and mind" Selangor Public Library organized Selangor Book fair to jump start book retailer by implemented in a hybrid manner as a symbolic gesture that with every hardship comes ease. This collaborative effort clearly holds IFLA strategic direction to connect and empower the field of library by organizing book fair to fuels book industry in Selangor. The Selangor Book Fair 2021 (SBF2021), which took place in city of Shah Alam was a fantastic event that fuelled Selangor's economic engine and allowed those in the book and stationery industry to jump-start their businesses during the uncertain time. This book fair also provides disabled friendly facilities with additional mobility scooter for extra attention for those in need. This 11 days yearly event attracted more than 159,000 Visitors in 2021 and participating 121 book seller and spreading 152 booth at Shah Alam Convention Centre ( SACC ). Although this book fair was organized in a smaller scale, most of the seller reach their target and overwhelmed by the support of community and the state government.
