Score a Book! is a unique reading program for children and families in the Netherlands. It combines football with reading, because you can score anywhere! Score a Book! uses the power of football to increase the reading pleasure and motivation of children and families. Professional football players are used as role models. Score a book! is an example of a family-wide approach to reading pleasure and fostering a language-rich home environment. The program consists of a School and Home edition, which are inextricably linked. On our poster we show how we have implemented the family approach. What happens in the classroom and at home? What are the results?en_US
