Abstract: | Students are all different. Special Education Program has been organized in Malaysia since 1988 and designed to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with an environment that allows them to be educated effectively. Focus audience are deafness or blindness; mental disabilities, such as Down's syndrome and autism.While Terengganu State Library collaboration with Terengganu State Education Department takes a step forwards for special students in order to enhance their self-esteem and boost intrinsic motivation and engage their potential.Therefore, hands-on activities such as art and craft, drawing and coloring are endorsed by the library to support and reinforce self-confidence, trustworthy, social skills and others values among them. Those activities encourage students to strive for their best by giving them a sense of connection and accomplishment. |
