The University of Queensland (UQ) Library has recently transformed their Liaison Librarian group to a contemporary model of a Faculty Librarian team. This saw librarians move from the time-honoured model of liaising with individual disciplines to a one-team approach for a sustainable future. The changing nature of teaching and learning, research, the information environment, and the impacts of COVID-19 change provided the catalyst for this new vision of reimagining library service delivery to UQ stakeholders. The transformation was led by a small team from within the wider librarian team over a period of 18-months, where ten project groups focusing on library services and delivery enablers to realise the vision. The aim is to increase our capacity and capability to support digital learning, teaching and research, and align ourselves with the rapidly changing needs of the UQ community. The result of the transformation led to a more agile, innovative, and sustainable library service where the vision of collaboration has delivered new valued partnerships and identified new opportunities across the UQ community and beyond. Librarians as a team are empowered and enabled to explore new opportunities, engage in new ways, and realise the vision of a sustainable future of UQ Library services.en_US
