Exploring Filipiniana rare books and the state of Filipiniana rare books management

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of Filipiniana rare books and Filipiniana rare books management. It discusses the nature and scope of Filipiniana rare books and by surveying their status in select libraries in the Philippines, this study attempts to draw the state of Filipiniana rare books management in the country. Accordingly, it posts recommendations on how the issues and concerns identified in this study may be addressed.
Este documento aporta una visión general de la situación de los libros raros ‘Filipiniana’ y de su gestión. Trata la naturaleza y el alcance de los libros raros ‘Filipiniana’ y, mediante el análisis de su situación en una selección de bibliotecas en Filipinas, el estudio intenta esbozar el estado de la gestión de los libros raros ‘Filipiniana’ en el país. De acuerdo con esto, se establecen recomendaciones sobre cómo deberían enfocarse los temas y problemas identificados en este estudio.
Cette communication fournit un panorama des livres rares de Philippiniana et de la gestion des livres rares de Philippiniana. Elle traite de la nature et du périmètre des livres rares de Philippiniana, et, en évoquant leur statut dans un choix de bibliothèques philippines, cette étude essaie d'esquisser l'état de la gestion des livres rares de Philippiniana dans le pays.
为了研究有关菲律宾善本及善本管理的问题,通过对菲律宾一些图书馆馆藏善本情况的调查,讨论菲律宾善本的特点和范围,呈现菲律宾善本管理现状,并对如何解决所涉的问题与相关领域的研究提出了建议。
