Abstract
La presente investigación, promovida por IFLA/LAC y auspiciada por la ABUD, se propone identificar y registrar el impacto de la Ley No. 65-00, sobre Derecho de Autor, sobre la misión y funciones de las bibliotecas y servicios de información de la República Dominicana.
A través de diferentes medios de captación de información y dinámicas de socialización y discusión, están presentes las voces de los bibliotecarios y especialistas en temas legales, quienes tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer y analizar las limitaciones y excepciones de la ley sobre derecho de autor en beneficio de las bibliotecas dominicanas.
This research, promoted by IFLA/LAC and sponsored by ABUD, aims to identify and register the impact of the Author’s Rights Act, Law No. 65-00, on the mission and functions of libraries and information services of the Dominican Republic. Through different information gathering means and socialization dynamics, this results show the opinion of librarians and legal experts who had the opportunity to know and analyze the limits and exceptions of the Author’s Rights Act that benefit Dominican libraries.
