Abstract
This newsletter will keep you informed about the Section's initiatives, projects, events, publications, and opportunities to engage with our work. In this first issue, you will learn about the DDRS Open Session at the IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) in Busan, organized in collaboration with the Libraries Serving Persons with Print Disabilities Section, entitled Beyond Controlled Digital Lending: Operationalizing the Marrakesh Treaty and Beyond. You will also discover our upcoming activities, including preparations for the 19th Interlending & Document Supply (ILDS) Conference in Rome, the launch of the ISTALAMTU initiative to strengthen digital resource sharing across the Arab region, updates from our Resource Sharing Collaborative and Volunteering Document Delivery (RSCVD) community, and highlights on ILL in Spain.
