AI enhances parliamentary information management, but growing adoption requires intentional oversight to prevent risks like misinformation, algorithmic bias, and data security breaches. Through its AI Roadmap, the Library of Parliament—alongside the Canadian Senate and House of Commons—implements usage guidelines, staff training, and pilot projects to digitize historical documents and streamline trade data.
