dc.description.abstractMinutes of the 88th IFLA Governing Board meeting held on 29 July 2022 in Dublin, Ireland. The Board held a joint session with the SIGL Board and discussed governance matters including the Secretary General search and updates to the IFLA Handbook. Key decisions included endorsement of the IFLA Statement on Open Access and Open Science, approval of processes for Special Interest Groups, and suspension of rights for unfinancial members from Russia. The Board reviewed strategic direction reports across advocacy, professional practice, and organizational development, and approved updates on WLIC planning. An executive session followed.
