IFLA Statement on Contract Override (2025)

Abstract

This statement, agreed by the Governing Board on 16 August 2025, establishes IFLA's position in favour of strong contract override provisions in law, as well as wider protections against behaviours that limit libraries' ability to fulfil their missions.
