L (Electronic Information for Libraries) has celebrated 10 years of EIFL Public Library Innovation Awards. The Award recognizes innovative services by public and community libraries in developing and transition countries. Since 2012, EIFL has completed 15 calls for applications, and recognized 53 innovative library services from 25 countries with an award. The interactive poster highlights ten selected award winners and innovative services around the world, while also examining the impact of their work across areas of Sustainable Development Goals. A barcode for each library takes viewers to short interviews with librarians, who speak about their winning services and the impact of winning the award on their libraries. To access stories of all award winners in different categories, for example, libraries protecting environment; responding to Covid-19; contributing to community health or economic wellbeing, empowering women and girls, and so on, follow the link at the bottom of the poster. EIFL (www.eifl.net) is an international not-for-profit devoted to improving access to information through libraries and library consortia in developing and transitioning countries. EIFL’s Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) aims at sparking innovation with the use of technology in public libraries in developing and transition economy countries.
