Abstract
The poster show s the concerted effort and innovative practices in digital cooperation among academic libraries in China over the last two decades,
from co-construction and sharing to collaboration and integration, from resource digitization to the entire life cycle of knowledge services, and
from digital library to smart library. Since 2002, the China Academic Digital Associative Library (CADAL) project, which is one of the typical representatives of academic digital libraries in China, has given full play to its role as a link and a bridge. With more than 20 years' joint efforts of 939 academic libraries in China and 40 libraries in Asia, North America and Europe, CADAL has finally built into a digital library with more than 2.8 8 million electronic re sources in Chinese and English. Confronted with the rapid development of the digital age and the changing needs of readers, the digital cooperation of CADAL was upgraded and the Digital Knowledge Service Alliance was officially established in 2021. The alliance focuses on four aspects of cooperation: digital retrospective of
books, permanent preservation of digital resources, digital new books procurement and digital knowledge services, and building platform of Knowledge as a Service (KAAS).
