Abstract

Mirroring the evolution of modern libraries, archives are radically transforming their engagement strategies by turning static collections into dynamic narratives that resonate with the digital and sociopolitical demands of the twenty-first century. This poster presents the multi-modal engagement strategy for the University of the Philippines Diliman, University Archives' online exhibit, ranging from promotional campaigns to the introduction of the Archives’ feline mascot, and the integration of gamified assessment. These initiatives were designed to increase visitor traffic, deepen narrative immersion, and establish a robust feedback loop. Findings reveal that the efficacy of anticipatory marketing through “teasers” stimulates student interest, while gamified challenges tap students' competitiveness, and strategic coordination with unit libraries is pivotal in maximizing audience interest and promotional impact.
