Minutes of Meeting: IFLA Regional Council, 28 October 2025

Abstract

The third meeting of the Regional Council 2025-2027 was held virtually on 28 October 2025. Items discussed during this meeting include a welcome by the Regional Council Chair, followed by updates from the IFLA Secretary General, Regional Division Committee Chairs, the Professional Council Chair and Headquarters. Additionally, thematic issues of this Regional Council's focus were discussed, like the Regional Council Action Plan, the RDC brochures, the Post 2030 agenda strategy, the IFLA100 event planning, the participation in MONDIACULT and cultural policy fora, the Library Map of the World redesign, the engagement with IFLA Units outside of the Professional Council, and the IFLA Representation at regional and national library events.
