In response to the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and evolving digital risks, Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT) has established a comprehensive digital resilience framework through the Poding Memorial Library and Information Services (PMLIS), integrating cybersecurity, privacy protection, intellectual property (IP) rights, AI governance, and inclusive learning. CYUT aligns with ISO 27001, BS 10012, and Taiwan’s Cyber Security and Personal Data Management Framework for the Educational System, strengthening data integrity, privacy protection, and resilience against emerging cyber threats. Building on this foundation, PMLIS advances university-wide AI governance through an AI Steering Committee, generative AI guidelines, AI-enabled services, and education in AI literacy, academic ethics, information security, personal data protection, and IP rights. Secure cloud-based library automation through OCLC WorldShare Management Services (WMS), together with the CYUT Institutional Repository, advances Open Science and safeguards scholarly knowledge. Complementing digital resilience, inclusive facilities—including prayer spaces and accessible infrastructure—promote equitable access to learning. Together, these initiatives demonstrate how academic libraries can build a resilient, ethical, and trusted academic ecosystem in the AI era.
