With the help of technology, a library can be transformed into a place that provides useful information, such as recommended lists of popular books, on easy-to-use platforms. Traditional libraries use call numbers to arrange books, which can pose difficulties for users when books are misplaced by other users, or when they are not familiar with call numbers. RFID smart bookshelves help to locate books on the shelves without relying on call numbers. This enables the placement of books from various categories on the same smart bookshelf. This study employed a visualized information system using a touch-screen, which enables young users, especially digital natives, to access an interface that is designed in accordance with their age and cognitive abilities. Keywords tags and game-related icons make the book-finding process an effective and enjoyable journey for these young users. A visualized interface better satisfies users’ needs. This study has been conducting in Children’s Library of National Library of Public Information (NLPI) from August, 2016 to May, 2017. This proposed poster will present the results of the study by using photos, diagrams, and young users’ responses after using RFID Smart Bookshelves.en
