dc.description.abstract	IFLA-UNESCOs manifest for skolebibliotek 2025 er en oppdatert utgave av det tidligere IFLA/UNESCO School Library Manifesto: The school library in teaching and learning for all (1999). Den nye utgaven gjenspeiler de mange endringene innen teknologi, samfunn og utdanning, og representerer et viktig og nyttig verktøy for å fremme skolebibliotekets rolle for kvalitet og inkluderende utdanning. Teksten er resultatet av et samarbeid mellom IFLA, IASL og det globale skolebibliotekmiljøet. Den ble utgitt på engelsk den 12. september 2021 av av IFLA School Libraries Section Standing Committee og IASL – International Association of School Librarianship – og ble godkjent av IFLAs styre den 17. april 2023. Manifestet ble deretter godkjent på det 13. møtet i UNESCOs mellomstatlige råd for Information for All Programme (IFAP) i april 2025.
