dc.description.abstractSubmitted by Secretary General Paul Nauta on behalf of the IFLA Executive Board, this letter concerns the 1989 "Motion Concerning south African Membership in IFLA", the establishment of the "Working Group on South Africa" in January 1990 and their recommendations, along with replies by the IFLA Executive Board and subsequent actions. The letter was sent to all IFLA Association Members, Institutional Members, Sustaining Affiliates, Institutional Affiliates, Personal Affiliates, Bodies having Consultative Status with IFLA, and IFLA Officers on 12 April 1991.
