dc.description.abstractEl Manifiesto IFLA-UNESCO de la Biblioteca Escolar 2025 es una edición actualizada del Manifiesto IFLA-UNESCO sobre la Biblioteca Escolar: La biblioteca escolar en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje para todos (1999). Esta nueva edición refleja la gran cantidad de cambios que se han producido con respecto a la tecnología, la sociedad y la educación, y representa una herramienta importante y útil para la defensa y promoción de las bibliotecas escolares en pos de una educación inclusiva y de calidad. Este documento es el resultado de un trabajo conjunto entre la IFLA, la IASL (Asociación Internacional de Bibliotecología Escolar) y la comunidad global de bibliotecas escolares. Fue publicado el 12 de septiembre de 2021 en inglés conjuntamente por el Comité Permanente de la Sección de Bibliotecas Escolares de la IFLA y la IASL, y aprobado el 17 de abril de 2023 por la Junta de Gobierno de la IFLA. Además, fue aprobado en la 13.° Sesión del Consejo Intergubernamental del Programa de Información para Todos (PIPT) de la UNESCO en abril de 2025.
