Abstract

Respondents to a pulse survey judged that over the past 12 months, the world has moved further away from achieving most of the targets set out in the Culture2030Goal campaign draft culture goal; There is more optimism for the next 12 months, but particular concerns remain about developing a culture of peace, and protecting artists’ rights; In addition to these, the ability of Indigenous people to promote their own institutions and cultures, cultural mobility, and cultural institutions all represent areas where particular focus is potentially needed; The variation in scores underlines the need for a comprehensive and holistic approach to ensure cultural sustainability for the wellbeing of all. This report may subsequently be replaced by a more designed version.
