dc.description.abstract | Libraries have a unique relationship with human rights. Our institutions both depend on them to operate, but also contribute to their realisation. The 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in December 2018 was an opportunity to reflect on these connections, and celebrate the work that libraries already do. To help libraries show their own commitment, as well as to start discussions on the subject of human rights, IFLA Headquarters prepared a poster in English, Spanish and French to be used freely. | |
