| dc.description.abstract | The Austrian Library Association (Büchereiverband Österreichs) aspires to create new opportunities in ordert o support our highly valued volunteer librarians (86% librarians working in public libraries are volunteers). Since 2017 the Library Association offers a particularly successful program for volunteer librarians in cooperation with the High Life Highland Libraries in Scotland. Austrian volunteer librarians get the opportunity to travel on a Mobile Library (a bus), meet Scottish library users and gain new experiences and expertise. | en |
