Abstract

The Resource Sharing Collaborative and Volunteering Document Delivery (RSCVD) steering committee met on 1st April 2026, and the discussion begins with technical information from Silvana and Zaid about the email functionalities scheduled to be activated after Easter. IFLA email addresses are based on a Microsoft software suite that requires a subscription, so emails are sent via the CNR domain. Peter C. has expressed doubts about the sustainability of a CNR-based service. The matter needs to be investigated further by considering a server integrated into the RSCVD framework. Regarding the “IFLA Impact and Innovation Fund” Katia is awaiting confirmation from the National Library of Qatar. If funding is successfully obtained, the project is to translate the RSCVD website into English and Arabic and to hire an experienced trainer to spread and promote the use of the RSCVD app. Following this, an update was provided stating that no nominations for the ALA Presidential Library Award had been submitted. The latest topics discussed were the ILDS conference (registration deadlines, accepted proposals and the resulting agenda) and the DDRS webinar scheduled for 4 May on international shipping issues including International ILL Toolkit, the De Minimis Shipping Hub, and the RSCVD app.
