dc.description.abstractThe 3rd IFLA MLAS Standing Committee Meeting for the year 2025 was held on 15 April 2025 via Zoom and chaired by Loida Garcia Febo, MLAS Chair. The meeting started with all members present to give an update on their latest achievement/ programme in their library associations. Loida gave an update on the IFLA Governing Board which include the IFLA Governing Board Meeting which was held in person from the 2nd to 4th April in Berlin; IFLA WLIC 2025, Astana; IFLA Strategy 2024-2029; IFLA Code of Conduct for Volunteers; IFLA Open Science and Scholarship Advisory Committee; and Call for Expression of Interest to host IFLA WLIC 2026 and 2027. Loida also gave an update on the 2025 MLAS Webinars(March-July 2025); IFLA WLIC 2025 , 18-22 August 2025: IFLA MLAS WLIC 2025 Programme in Astana which include the MLAS Business Meeting, MLAS Open Session and Association Meeting. Loida also explained the MLAS Mentorship of Library Associations Pilot Programme.
