Section of Libraries for the Blind: Looking ahead - a first ten years - papers and publications, 1977-1986

Abstract

This publication outlines the achievements and challenges of the IFLA Section of Libraries for the Blind from 1977 to 1986 by providing a comprehensive overview of the Section's efforts and outputs. An annotated bibliography of conference papers and reports is included, organised chronologically and alphabetically by authors. ​Each paper includes an abstract, except for interim reports on projects. ​Significant topics include: international coordination, copyright issues, and cataloging standards for materials for the blind. ​
