Abstract
Background & Aim:
Reading stations in Iran is one of the most important plans which introduced by Iran public libraries foundation to promote reading habits and reading culture among Iranian people. The present study aimed to considering the compliance of available resources in study stations of Bushehr municipality with people information needs as well as to identify factors welcomed and lack of interest from the station.
Methodology:
In this descriptive study which of cross-sectional type, total of 300 clients of study station in Bushehr were selected through non- probability sampling. Data were collected using researcher-made questionnaire. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, standard deviation, and mean were analyzed using SPSS software.
Finding:
The findings showed the average satisfactory among patrons attended study stations (50/8). The most subject book trends in study stations belong respectively to the literature (25), Children (19), religion (18), history (16), and technology (1). Medicine, literature and psychology were ranked as the least need of religious and historical areas more education expert study was referred to study station the lowest age were participated in study. (12) And the highest age in study (64) years old. (42) percent clients to study station man and (58) percent clients were woman.
